Poultry Cardboard Bedding

Poultry

When it comes to caring for animals such as chickens, ducks, turkeys and geese we've got you covered. Our bedding is so light and airy that your 2 legged friends will feel like they are walking on clouds.

Our bedding breaks down quickly, allowing it to be easy to clean out your chicken coops. Our bedding is not coloured, so this means that there are no chemicals from the colourings going into the bedding.

Chickens cannot ingest the large pieces of cardboard. They will try to peck at it but lose interest very quickly. Since the bedding is so light, many times chickens will stir the bedding for you through out the day, which is a bonus.

One of our benefits to poultry animals includes how our bedding does not cause any irritation to sinus issues unlike shavings. There is no dust or pollen in our bedding, which is a plus for owners when making a bed.

Some customers buy it for their egg-laying hens because they don't scratch it all out of the nesting box, like they do wood shavings. Hens tend to like the shredded cardboard better because it isn't prickly or scratchy. It will also last a third longer than wood shavings because it is so absorbent.

Kayleigh

"Most cost effective, a lot more absorption than my regular bedding. Composts better so more ECO. It was easier to muck out than taking out half the bedding as I would normally, as it didn't stick to the bedding, so easier to sieve out. Pretty much dust free as well so great for horses who may have respiratory problems like COPD."

"ECO Animal Bedding would benefit a lot of people as it seems to work well with most of the animals on my farm. The bedding is highly absorbent and would probably rot down quicker in the muck pile than wood shavings."
